If you have been seeking acceptance and validation for who you are and what you have experienced, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am here to support you. We can experience this search for acknowledgement and recognition with shame, loneliness, confusion, and physical discomfort in our bodies. Let’s work together to explore these feelings and heal.

I aim to provide a comfortable and secure space for you to peek out from the isolation and release the pressures of your life at your own pace. You will deepen your relationship with yourself and broaden your understanding of how you show up in the relationships with people in your life as we bring about the sustainable, lasting change you are seeking.

Whether your concerns come from the daily stress of work and relationships or from long-term narratives about family dynamics or your identity, in our work together you will start to become a more comfortable you. It takes bravery and courage to walk through life, and I aim to foster a foundation of trust to help you to keep taking these steps.

I am here with you on this journey, offering empathy, patience, new perspectives, humor, and curiosity along the way. You are not alone. Without judgment, we will look at your past experiences and explore how they show up in your present and how they have impacted and shaped you. You will learn more about what brings you meaning in your life and feel an increased sense of purpose.

 Questions You May Have

  • I offer an eclectic approach that results in what is commonly referred to as talk therapy. I primarily operate from psychodynamic, humanistic, and existential perspectives. I also utilize a multicultural orientation as a baseline for all interventions and treatment.

  • While I have worked with a variety of patients, each with unique concerns, I primarily work with those who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and family and relationship conflicts. Additionally, I work with the LGBTQ+ population and individuals who are exploring their identities. Please visit any of the links at the bottom of this page for more information.

  • I am available for in-person sessions on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and evenings. I am available for virtual sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Please reach out to see current availability.

  • My standard rate for a 45-minute session is $200. I do offer limited sliding-scale options. I also am in-network with Aetna. If you have a different insurance plan, it is very possible that your plan contains out-of-network benefits that will cover much of the cost. You can reach out to your insurance company and ask: "Do I have out-of-network coverage for outpatient psychotherapy (CPT code: 90834)?" and "What is my co-insurance?" Co-insurance is the portion your insurance will require you to pay after you have met your annual deductible. I am happy to help you verify.

If you have any additional questions or are new to therapy please reach out and we can discuss!
